SILBERMAN 2008
Commissioner Silberman was appointed to the bench by the judges of the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2004.  Since that time he has served as Judge Pro Tem in family court where he has presided over thousands of cases concerning dissolution of marriage, child custody, and domestic violence.  Commissioner Silberman currently sits in Department 7 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles.  A devoted child advocate, if elected he hopes to continue working in family court where he can impact the lives of children who are suffering due to parental conflict or violence.
